Gerlinde Manz-Christ has over 25 years of experience as a top diplomat for Austria and government spokesperson for the Principality of Liechtenstein. Today she combines the art of diplomacy and communication with the requirements of business.
Gerlinde Manz-Christ is an experienced crisis expert who has weathered numerous crises in Japan, Israel, New York, Vienna, and Liechtenstein. She is the founder and Managing Partner of Manz-Christ AG – international communication advisory.
As an international keynote speaker, management advisor, and coach, she conveys the essence of her experiences. She advises governments and companies in Strategic and Diplo-matic Communication as well as Public Diplomacy, and how to communicate with the public in other countries.
The multifaceted pioneer and adventurer worked as the only foreigner to date in a traditional Japanese Group in Sapporo, Northern Japan; she was the only woman at the top of the Press and Information Department of the Austrian Foreign Ministry; and she was one of the first Caucasians to be allowed to participate in the Apache Indians’ holy "Journey of the Waters."
She is a lecturer at the Diplomatic Academy Vienna, at the University of Innsbruck, and an invited lecturer at the Diplomatic School of Armenia in Yerevan.
For her outstanding achievements, Gerlinde Manz-Christ has been awarded the Grand Decoration of Honor in Silver with Star for services to the Republic of Austria and is a Grand Officer of the Order of the Star of Jordan. In 2013 she was added to the Hall of Fame at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.
