Biography

"Blindness is his way of seeing. Trust and perspective."

The fast-paced nature and overstimulation of the world we live in can often make us feel insecure. The incessant flood of information can quickly make our day-to-day lives resemble a dense and unnavigable jungle.

Francisco Villanueva is a speaker and coach specializing in trust issues. He has also been legally blind since the age of 18. His own blindness is his most instructive teacher when it comes to learning how to skilfully stumble in the dark, what it means to assess borderline situations, see obstacles as opportunities and how insecurities can not only be endured but also used to advantage and even enjoyed. This has had such a positive and lasting impact on his life that he has always regarded his 'second sight' as a gift. This knowledge allows him to accompany people from all over Europe on their journey towards trust.

He advocates that trust does not equal evading responsibility, true to the credo "blind trust is a way of seeing". On the contrary, the psychologist Villaneuva sees it as the key to unlocking a radical change of perspective. People who put themselves in insecure situations without surrendering responsibility distance themselves from destructive thought patterns and a problem-oriented approach to embrace intuitive and effective ways of living and working.

In his presentations, workshops and one-on-one sessions, private individuals and business leaders can learn how to activate and sustainably integrate trust into their lives, and what changes when the focus is no longer on failure but on the actual goal. He explains the opportunities that active trust can create. In short: Francisco Villanueva shows us how to forge a successful path through the even most overgrown jungle of everyday life.

He can't change the world, but he can change the way he sees it.
